Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Selectium (Nigeria) partnered with Intel to host an MD Tech Forum in Lagos, Nigeria on June 28, 2022. The event, titled ‘Building a Hybrid Digital Workplace for Financial Services’, attracted top IT professionals from the Financial Service industry and introduced some of the latest radical and innovative technologies available for business development.

The all-day interactive session was developed to introduce IT and FSI professionals to HPE and Intel’s secure and flexible VDI as a service solution that has immense benefits such as:
simple deployment and management; the ability to drive speed, agility, and economics; plentiful support for a full range of users; reduced risk of data exposure; and importantly, payment for only the resources consumed, obviously one of the key advantages of SaaS.

Presentations were made by Rita Amuchienwa, Country Account Executive for West Africa, Intel Corporation, alongside Oludare Ishola, Sales Account Manager FSI, Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Selectium. Others presenting were Koketso Letoaba, Intel Technical Specialist, and Ahmed Al-Jeshi, Regional Director, HPC & AI – Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Intel.

In the interactive sessions, participants were introduced to the benefits of embracing Hybrid Workplace Solutions, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) as well as High-Performance Computing (HPC) and how this would enable the Financial Service industry tap into the expertise of secure remote working.
