iSTYLE opens the first Apple Premium Partner store in CEE region at Chodov in the Czech Republic
iSTYLE opened a unique Apple flagship store concept in Chodov, Prague, on October 14. The new Apple Premium Partnership (APP) store is a major milestone for the Czech market; the concept of the store is inspired by the iconic Apple store experience and delivers a completely new level of customer service. Compared to the previous iSTYLE store at Westfield Chodov, it offers double the sales area and many other innovations.
The new store is located on the ground floor in the most frequented area of Westfield Chodov Shopping Mall. With a retail space of more than 250 sqm, customers can explore a large showroom with many products to try, professionally trained staff, and an express authorized service of Apple products available to customers directly from the shop floor.

“I believe that a visit to the new Apple flagship store will be a real experience for our customers. iSTYLE was at the birth of the first Apple stores in the Czech Republic and we are proud that we can now take our partnership another significant step forward,” adds Vít Goluch, Regional Manager of iSTYLE for Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, which until now held the status of Apple Premium Reseller.

A new level of customer experience and support for small and medium-sized businesses
The new level of partnership will bring a fundamental shift in the overall customer experience. Inspired by the Apple Store concept, the shop fittings are from suppliers that work directly with the Apple brand elsewhere. The modular stone floor thus comes from Italy, the designer rounded tables from the USA and other conceptual furniture from Germany. The entire store will be ready to operate in the near future, even without a physical cash register, as an improvement for the customer experience.
The Apple Premium Partner store concept also includes regular training and open workshops for the public. The topics of the first courses, which will take place already in October, will be ‘Working with macOS for beginners,’ ‘Tips and tricks for advanced Mac users’, and ‘Getting started with the iPhone.’ The courses will be conducted by Martin Světlík, a long-time Apple user and creator of the website prvnimac.cz. Customers can register online for the free workshops.

At the same time, iSTYLE will focus even more on meeting the needs of entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized companies. There will always be staff trained in the specifics of the use of Apple devices in companies and knowledgeable in the field of financing company hardware at the store.
Ten stores and four more APPs in preparation
iSTYLE currently has a network of 10 stores in the Czech Republic, in Prague, Brno, Ostrava and Ústí nad Labem. In the first half of next year, the company plans to open three new stores with the highest APP status, which will be created by the reconstruction of existing branches in the Palladium Praha, Brno Vaňkovka and Centrum Černý Most centers. In the second half of next year, a brand new APP store will also be opened in the upcoming building near Masaryk station.
iSTYLE is Apple’s largest partner in CEE. The first branch in the Czech Republic was established in 2006, and the very first iSTYLE store was opened in 1999. Now the company has more than 100 stores, of which 54 are located in the EU and 16 in the Middle East. Sister company K-Tuin in Spain has a network of 53 other stores. iSTYLE is part of the Midis group.

The role and responsibilities of the CISO as explained by Ivanti ME Sales Director
Samer Hani, Ivanti Regional Sales Director, Middle East, was on the panel of the CISO 50 Forum and Awards 2022 in a session discussing ‘Planning for an Effective Cybersecurity Roadmap.’ Ivanti ME was a Gold Sponsor of the event which took place on September 20, hosted at the Taj Exotica Resort and Spa, The Palm, Dubai.
The Forum and Awards celebrate the efforts of innovative and forward-thinking security leaders and frontrunners who have delivered real-world results for driving security transformation. According to the CISO 50 website, the typical Chief Information Security Officer oversees four key security pillars including security architecture and engineering, operations, cyber resilience, and regulatory and IT compliance.
Samer Hani on the key responsibilities of the CISO
“Nowadays, the role of CISO is not only to protect the data, but also to protect the entire business. The main purpose of the CISO is to enable and enforce a new culture with a new thinking and understanding of cybersecurity. One of the major concerns is to protect the company’s assets and information. This can be achieved by creating a daily engagement from the CISO with all the heads of departments in order to ensure business continuity.”
“In addition, the safety of an organization underlies in understanding the regulations and applying major frameworks. Hence, it is essential that organizations implement solutions such as CSI security controls, COBIT, NIST, PCI DSS, GDPR and many more…”
“The future of IT and running businesses depends on setting out a major transformation by the CISO, specifically in the cloud. It is essential for an organization to start by asking questions, such as:
How many IPs are connected to my network at this stage?
How many non-compliant machines and softwares are there?
Which vulnerability should be prioritized and remediated first, according to its impact on the business?
What is the organizational Risk, Tolerance & Assurance strategy?”
