“I’m originally from Belgrade, capital of Serbia. I started with the Group in 2004, so 14 years ago. Before that, I worked in two companies. One was a distributor for high fashion designer trends and I was an admin in the back office. They had eight retail shops in Belgrade back then. That was actually my first serious job.

“I’ve learnt a lot here, as a person, and business wise. It’s a family to me. The company allowed me to grow business-wise. I learned a lot through time. And really for me, this is like my second family because I’m here most of the day. I feel like a part of some bigger family than the original one…”

Husni Hammoud

I started as a pre-sale engineer and became the general manager of that group. My boss then became the company president of the country for the whole Midis operation. And that took just five years. Why? Because we look for people who can deliver and have ideas, and can grow.

“Everyone you meet at Midis, they’ve been in the same situation. They start somewhere and they grow, and they make their team to grow at the same time, horizontally and vertically.

“We started with 20 in the company. Now we are 200 companies. So we need at least 200 managers; we cannot afford to lose anyone. Midis care about people and they care about how to make you go forward. It is a win-win situation for all of us. That’s why I’ve been with Midis for more than 18 years.”
